Position Overview
The Summer Helper – File Digitalization supports the Human Resources department by organizing, scanning, indexing, and digitally converting employee and departmental records. This temporary seasonal role plays an important part in maintaining accurate and secure HR documentation while supporting department efficiency and compliance. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information with professionalism.
What You'll Do
File Organization & Digitalization
- Organize, sort, and prepare employee and departmental files for digital scanning and electronic storage.
- Scan, upload, label, and index HR documents accurately within designated digital filing systems.
- Verify scanned documents for accuracy, completeness, and readability.
- Maintain organized digital folders and standardized file naming conventions.
Administrative Support
- Provide general administrative assistance to the Human Resources department as needed.
- Assist with organizing office records and maintaining efficient filing systems.
What You'll Bring
Education & Experience
- No prior education requirement.
- Current high school students, college students, or individuals seeking administrative experience are encouraged to apply.
- Previous administrative, clerical, or office support experience preferred.
- Experience with scanning equipment, Microsoft Office, or digital filing systems preferred.
Required Skills & Abilities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions carefully.
- Ability to complete repetitive tasks with accuracy and consistency.
