The role of the Operations Clerk provides administrative assistance and support for the branch operations and warehouse.
Responsibilities:
Provides administrative support to Operations as assigned, including, but not limited to: Provides administrative support to Warehouse as assigned, including, but not limited to: Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to policies and procedures as outlined in the Company Safety Program. Perform any other task or assignment as deemed necessary by the organization
Completes Shipment Paperwork Inputs inbound shipment bookings in to company systems Books and registers shipments Communicates with customers, internally and externally.
Maintains warehouse files, including organization, updates and filing Inputs Warehouse information in to Warehouse locator system Assists Warehouse Management as requested
Education and/or Experience and Requirements:
Must be able to understand and accurately follow instructions. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to keep confidentiality. Minimum of high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to read and write the English language with proficiency sufficient to communicate with co-workers and visitors. Understand and adhere to verbal and written company policies. Proven ability to apply attention to detail, role-related accuracy and task follow-through. Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Power Point, and other Microsoft Office products, preferred. Polite, positive, proactive, and professional demeanor Able to pass pre-employment drug screen. The ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner Must be eligible to be employed in the United States.
