Video Production Specialist & Producer

Full-Time | On-Site – Grand Rapids, MI

Are you a creative storyteller with a passion for visual media and a heart for ministry? At Our Daily Bread Ministries, we are a global, mission-driven organization committed to helping people engage with God’s Word.

As the Video Production Specialist & Producer, you will play a key role in creating compelling, Christ-centered video content that brings biblical stories to life and supports global discipleship efforts. You’ll collaborate across teams to produce high-quality media from concept through final delivery.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with the Media Team and cross-functional partners to create engaging video content that makes the Bible accessible to diverse audiences.
• Participate in all stages of production, including pre-production planning, on-location shoots, and post-production editing.
• Lead and support productions with expertise in cinematography, videography, and lighting.
• Coordinate production logistics such as site scouting, permits, equipment management, and crew/talent scheduling.
• Maintain and organize video equipment while staying current with industry trends and recommending improvements.
• Provide editing and post-production support using industry-standard tools.
• Contribute creative ideas and storytelling approaches aligned with ministry goals.
• Foster clear communication and collaboration across teams and stakeholders.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Video Production, Journalism, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• ~5+ years of professional video production experience, including camera operation or related roles.
• Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, DaVinci Resolve, or Avid Media Composer.
• Strong storytelling, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.
• Experience managing production logistics and working with crews and talent.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work independently or on a team.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 8 weeks per year).
• Additional language skills are a plus.
