POSITION SUMMARY:
BMG has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Controller located at our headquarters’ location in Beaverton, MI. The Corporate Controller is responsible for overseeing end-to-end full cycle accounting operations, financial reporting, cash management, fixed asset management, and internal control functions for a multi-plant manufacturing organization. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial information, supports strategic decision-making through financial analysis and reporting, and maintains compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies. The Corporate Controller leads the accounting team, partners with operational leadership to improve performance and profitability, and actively participates in company improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on and strategic accounting leader with strong experience in manufacturing environments and multi-site operations. This individual possesses a solid understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, internal controls, and operational financial analysis, along with advanced ERP system and Excel proficiency. Manufacturing accounting experience, including inventory and standard costing, is strongly preferred, while experience with job costing and percentage-of-completion (POC) accounting is a plus.
