Intake Coordinator in Kalispell, Montana at Access Infusion Care Inc

Position Summary

Big Sky IV Care is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Intake Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and referral sources, helping ensure a smooth and efficient intake process while supporting coordination of care across our clinical and billing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Process new patient referrals and intake information accurately and efficiently
• Communicate with patients, providers, and referral sources in a professional and compassionate manner
• Verify insurance coverage and assist patients in understanding benefits and financial responsibilities
• Support prior authorization and reauthorization processes to ensure timely treatment
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within electronic medical systems
• Coordinate with clinical and billing teams to ensure patients are ready for scheduled services
• Monitor intake workflows and follow up on outstanding items to prevent delays in care

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 2-3 years of experience in a healthcare, medical office, patient intake, referral coordination, insurance verification, or related role.

• Familiarity with insurance verification, prior authorizations, or patient coordination is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable working with electronic medical records and standard office software

Work Environment
This is a full-time, onsite position in a professional office setting, Monday through Friday, 9-5.
