This role is a key part of the accounting function within a fast-paced, high-growth environment, responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, supporting month-end close processes, and strengthening the overall integrity of financial operations. You will collaborate closely with teams across risk, sales, operations, and compliance to maintain reliable financial reporting across multiple entities and currencies. The environment is dynamic and detail-oriented, requiring strong analytical thinking and the ability to manage high transaction volumes with precision. You will contribute directly to core accounting processes including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting, while also supporting audits, tax documentation, and treasury operations. This is a hands-on role with exposure to cross-functional business activities and opportunities to improve and streamline accounting workflows. It is well suited for professionals who thrive in structured yet evolving startup environments.
- Support month-end close activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and consolidation of international subsidiaries
- Prepare monthly and quarterly variance analysis and internal financial reporting packages
- Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, credit card transactions, and vendor reconciliation in line with corporate policies
- Perform treasury operations such as daily and weekly cash postings, intercompany transfers, and multi-currency reconciliations
- Assist in audit preparation and provide required documentation for tax and compliance reporting
- Support the preparation of financial statements and investor reporting materials
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and support implementation of enhancements
- Contribute to ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 2+ years of experience in operational or corporate accounting roles
- Strong understanding of US GAAP or equivalent accounting standards
- Experience working with high-volume transactions and complex reconciliations
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with tools such as NetSuite, Ramp, or FloQast is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, startup-style environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple teams
- Experience in fintech, lending, or similar financial services environments is an advantage
- Competitive salary ranging from 90,000 to 120,000 USD depending on experience and location
