You will play a key part in managing accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, and supporting month-end close activities within a structured accounting function. Working closely with finance leadership and cross-functional teams, you will help maintain financial integrity across billing, collections, reconciliations, and reporting. The position blends operational accounting work with analytical responsibilities, requiring both attention to detail and a strong understanding of accounting principles. You will also support audits, tax filings, and process improvements that strengthen financial accuracy and compliance. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where precision and accountability directly support business performance.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable operations and supporting core accounting and financial reporting processes.
- Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including customer setup, invoicing, collections, and payment application.
- Review customer invoices for accuracy and ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards (ASC 606) and contract terms.
- Process and reconcile customer payments, credit card transactions, and deposits to ensure accurate ledger records.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve outstanding items within required timeframes.
- Post journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts to support monthly close activities.
- Assist with month-end close processes and financial reporting in collaboration with the finance team.
- Support bookkeeping tasks, including documentation organization and financial record maintenance.
- Assist with sales tax filings, business license renewals, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Contribute to year-end audit preparation by compiling schedules and responding to auditor requests.
- Execute ad hoc financial analysis, data queries, and special accounting projects as needed.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong technical skills and hands-on experience in accounts receivable and financial systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in full-cycle accounts receivable and collections.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite, including familiarity with revenue processes and accounting workflows.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and revenue recognition principles (ASC 606).
- Experience with spreadsheets and financial tools, with intermediate Excel skills (formulas and VLOOKUPs preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured and deadline-driven environment.
- Good communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Experience with NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) is considered an asset.
- Competitive annual salary range of $55,000 – $75,000 USD.
