This leadership opportunity is ideal for an experienced enterprise sales executive who excels at driving growth through strategic leadership, consultative selling, and team development. In this role, you will oversee a high-performing sales organization focused on expanding enterprise relationships within the public sector across North America. You will shape go-to-market strategies, mentor senior sales professionals, and lead complex SaaS sales initiatives involving government agencies. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll help deliver customer-centric solutions while influencing product direction and business growth. - Lead, coach, and develop a team of Senior Account Executives responsible for enterprise sales across the United States and Canada, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
- Define and execute strategic go-to-market initiatives alongside sales and marketing leadership to accelerate growth across multiple public sector verticals.
- Drive revenue growth by supporting complex enterprise sales opportunities, customer expansion initiatives, and multi-million-dollar SaaS deals.
- Build and strengthen executive-level relationships with government leaders, procurement officials, and key stakeholders throughout the sales lifecycle.
- Guide teams through complex procurement processes, including RFPs, contract negotiations, budgeting cycles, and vendor approvals.
- Monitor sales pipeline performance, forecasting accuracy, and key performance metrics using Salesforce and other sales management tools.
- Collaborate closely with pre-sales, product, marketing, and professional services teams to deliver tailored customer solutions and seamless project transitions.
- Review pricing strategies, contract terms, and customer proposals to balance client success with business objectives.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, webinars, and public sector events while staying informed about market trends, government regulations, and funding initiatives.
- Encourage innovation and responsible adoption of AI technologies to improve productivity, decision-making, and customer outcomes.
- 10+ years of enterprise software or SaaS sales experience, with significant expertise selling to public sector or government organizations.
- At least 5 years of experience leading, mentoring, and scaling high-performing enterprise sales teams.
- Demonstrated success achieving or exceeding multi-million-dollar revenue targets within complex enterprise sales environments.
- Strong understanding of government procurement, contracting processes, compliance requirements, and public sector buying cycles.
- Executive-level communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Experience selling across both U.S. and Canadian markets is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms, strategic account planning, pipeline management, and sales forecasting.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to balance long-term planning and hands-on execution.
- Passion for coaching others, building strong customer partnerships, and collaborating across cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving SaaS environment with approximately 20–30% travel across North America.
