Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a People Business Partner based in the United States.
This is a strategic leadership opportunity for an experienced People Business Partner to shape organizational effectiveness across a fast-growing, innovation-driven company. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders, designing tailored people strategies that align with ambitious business objectives and evolving organizational needs. This position is ideal for a business-minded HR leader who thrives in complex, high-growth environments and enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution to drive measurable business impact.
- Partner with senior business leaders to develop and execute strategic people plans that support long-term business, product, and commercial objectives.
- Lead organizational design and change management initiatives, creating scalable structures and operating models that improve organizational effectiveness while supporting business growth.
- Diagnose organizational challenges, leadership dynamics, and team performance issues, providing tailored solutions that strengthen collaboration, engagement, and productivity.
- Develop customized talent, succession, and retention strategies by leveraging workforce insights and partnering closely with People Operations and Total Rewards teams.
- Prioritize and execute high-impact people initiatives that directly support business outcomes in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Collaborate across departments including Finance, Information Security, Business Operations, Marketing, and executive leadership to align people strategies with organizational priorities.
- Contribute to the evolution of the People Business Partner function by establishing scalable frameworks, best practices, and, over time, supporting the development of a growing People Partner team.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in People Business Partner, HR Business Partner, Organizational Development, Management Consulting, or related strategic people leadership roles.
- At least 2–3 years operating at the Director, Principal, or equivalent senior leadership level.
- Demonstrated expertise in organizational design, change management, workforce planning, leadership consulting, and organizational effectiveness.
- Experience supporting high-growth AI, deep technology, biotechnology, research, or similarly complex, innovation-focused organizations.
- Proven ability to design and implement scalable frameworks, operating models, and strategic people initiatives within dynamic, rapidly changing organizations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field; advanced degrees such as an MBA, Master's, or PhD are advantageous.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect people strategy directly to commercial objectives, product development, and organizational performance.
- Excellent consulting, influencing, coaching, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to adapt leadership approaches across diverse teams.
- Highly analytical, execution-oriented, and comfortable operating in ambiguous environments while balancing strategic planning with hands-on implementation.
- Competitive base salary based on geographic location:
- Tier 1: $250,000–$326,000

- 401(k) retirement savings plan with company matching.
- Paid parental leave and inclusive family-building benefits.
