Job Summary:
Supervise the Quad department by leading daily production activities, inventory control, housekeeping, safety, quality, and employee accountability. The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for operating an efficient, organized, and safe department while ensuring employees follow company policies, procedures, and production standards. This role provides leadership in a manufacturing and assembly environment by planning and assigning work, maintaining production flow, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and driving accountability for safety, quality, productivity, and attendance. The Supervisor will oversee inventory and purchasing needs, maintain equipment and operating conditions, implement process improvements, ensure employees are properly trained and follow all safety requirements, and maintain company standards and Core Values.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Oversees the daily workflow, productivity, and staffing needs of the department
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
- Participate in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new employee
- Participate in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new employee
- Conduct annual reviews, Quarterly Conversations, and accountability discussions as needed
- Review component inventory levels daily and communicate material shortages proactively
- Ensure production schedules and priorities are being met efficiently and safely
- Ensure materials, tools, and workstations are prepared and production-ready
- Coordinate and schedule production activities as needed to meet operational goals and deadlines •
- Enforce all company safety policies, procedures, PPE requirements, and housekeeping expectations
- Conduct routine safety observations and address unsafe behaviors or conditions immediately
- Hold employees accountable for attendance, productivity, quality, safety, and workplace conduct expectations
- Support investigations, corrective actions, and follow up related to safety incidents, quality concerns, or policy violations
- Ensure employees are properly trained on equipment, procedures, and safe work practices
- Promote and model DCU Core Values in daily leadership and decision-making
- Lead by example through professionalism, urgency, accountability, and adherence to DCU Core Values
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Monitor employee productivity, workflow, and department performance metrics daily
- Maintain accurate inventory levels, organization, and material flow within the department
- Coordinate with the manager and ensure housekeeping and 5S standards are consistently maintained throughout the department
- Ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently and coordinate maintenance needs as necessary
- Submit and monitor purchase requisitions for production materials and operational needs
- Identify and implement process improvements that improve safety, quality, productivity, or efficiency
- Maintain company standards related to quality, safety, productivity, and employee conduct
- Train, coach, and develop employees on procedures, quality expectations, and safe work practices
- Ensure production goals and deadlines are achieved while maintaining safety and quality standards
- Communicate effectively with leadership and cross-functional departments regarding production status, staffing, inventory, and operational concerns

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
5 years of experience working as a supervisor or lead.
Experience in manufacturing and implementation of lean concepts
Experience in MRP software preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of being on your feet
Must be able to lift up to 50+ pounds at times.
