This role is a key technical-commercial position within the bioprocessing field, focused on accelerating growth across upstream and cell culture solutions in a highly innovative life sciences environment. You will act as a strategic partner to account managers, supporting customer engagement through deep technical expertise and solution positioning. The role combines science, sales, and consulting, requiring strong interaction with biopharma clients involved in vaccine, biologics, and cell and gene therapy development. Operating in a field-based structure, you will engage with stakeholders across Brazil, contributing directly to pipeline development and revenue growth. The environment is fast-paced, competitive, and highly collaborative, with strong exposure to cutting-edge biotechnology applications. In this role, you will act as a technical-commercial expert supporting upstream and cell culture business growth across Brazil. You will collaborate closely with account managers to identify opportunities, shape customer strategies, and advance the sales pipeline.
- Act as a technical-commercial specialist for upstream and cell culture solutions, supporting opportunity development and deal closure
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities in a competitive bioprocessing market
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent territory growth
- Lead pre-sales activities, including technical discussions, process assessments, product demonstrations, and solution positioning
- Support strategic account planning and engage with key decision-makers and technical influencers
- Develop strong relationships with biopharma customers across Brazil and contribute to long-term partnerships
- Participate in customer visits, trainings, and occasional international travel for technical and commercial development
You should bring a strong scientific background combined with commercial acumen and experience in upstream bioprocessing. The ideal profile is highly technical, customer-oriented, and comfortable operating in complex, competitive environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Bioprocess Engineering, Life Sciences, or related fields
- Experience in upstream bioprocessing and cell culture, including exposure to media, bioreactors, mixers, and related consumables
- Hybrid technical-commercial profile with strong results orientation and resilience
- Proven ability to engage with customers, influence decisions, and communicate technical solutions effectively
- Experience working in competitive sales or technical application environments within life sciences or biopharma
- Fluent English (required and assessed during interviews)
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 80% within Brazil and occasionally internationally)
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
