Overview
Excalibur Associates is a recognized leader in the Security Management industry. We are currently seeking a Junior Locksmith to provide locksmith services on our contract serving the Environmental Protection Agency Headquarters in Washington, DC. The Junior Locksmith reports to the Senior Locksmith.
Job Skills/Requirements
• Junior Locksmith Duties
o Consult with Senior Locksmith to coordinate the best solution for lock repairs.
o Classified and filed records to keep the system efficient, and all information organized.
o Reviewed lock specifications to understand each operation and implement the correct adjustments, minimizing future errors and avoiding wasted materials.
o Research correct order numbers for keys/equipment needed for daily tasks.
o Delivered administrative lock tech support each day, including data updates to profiles.
o Troubleshot and diagnosed problems with safes, electronic locks, and mechanical locks, independently/partnering to resolve routine issues and organizing more advanced repairs.
o Organized tools and checked the shop's equipment to maintain a neat and safe work area.
o Occasionally transporting boxes, containers and equipment with the use of a hand cart.
• Qualifications
Educational
o High School Diploma
o Locksmith Certification
Experience
o Minimum of 3 years of experience
o Must have excellent customer service skills
o Must have good verbal and written communication skills (English)
o Must be fluent in the English language
