Front of House Team Member (Multi-Role)

JOB SUMMARY

Pacific Catch is seeking dynamic, adaptable, and hospitality-driven individuals to join our Chestnut Street team in a multi-functional front-of-house role. This position includes responsibilities across take-out, hosting, serving, bartending, bussing, and running, offering a holistic guest service experience. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, team-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment where flexibility and attention to detail are key.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Guest Interaction & Service

  • Greet and seat guests with warmth and professionalism and a welcoming attitude.
  • Introduce and support the QR ordering and payment system Ensure guest preferences are identified and accommodated.
  • Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations on food and beverages.
  • Accurately take and enter orders into the POS system.
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently ensuring accuracy and presentation standards.
  • Provide detailed knowledge of Pacific Catch menu items ingredients, and allergens when requested.

Order & Payment Processing

  • Enter orders accurately into the POS.
  • Support guests in using the QR payment system; be available to demonstrate and assist as needed. Process payments promptly and accurately, including handling various payments methods and provide correct change.

Dining Room Support

  • Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness in all guest-facing and work areas including tables, counters, restrooms, and floors.
  • Prepare and serve beverages: accurately make cocktails, pour wine to standard measurements, and open/serve alcoholic beverages in accordance to Pacific Catch standards.
  • Stocking and maintaining server stations, condiments, utensils, and take-out supplies as needed.

Take-Out & To-Go Orders

  • Ensure all take-out orders are accurate and complete before handing them to guest or delivery partners.
  • Communicate with kitchen and service team if issues arise with any orders.
  • Keep the take-out/expeditor station clean, organized, and free of clutter.

Team Support & Communication

  • Proactively support fellow Team Members during downtime or as directed by management.
  • Work collaboratively during every shift. Offer help when available and ask for support when needed.
  • Be open to feedback, coaching, and cross-training in multiple roles to support the team and business.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage workload in a high-volume environment.
  • Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and commitment to team success.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Familiarity with POS systems (e.g., Toast), QR code ordering/payment, the PC Rewards Program and reservation platforms (e.g., OpenTable) is a plus.
  • Basic math and cash-handling skills.

SCHEDULE

This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position. Hours may be different every week and schedules are not set or guaranteed. Weekend availability is a must.

COMPENSATION

$19.18 Per Hour

Requirements:

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Hospitality is a plus.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a restaurant or customer service role preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to stand and move comfortably for up to 5 hours at a time.
  • Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 35–50 pounds frequently.
