Dispatcher (NYC Office) at The BLS Company – Astoria, New York

BLS, a leader in the ground transportation industry across the USA is hiring Dispatchers to be based at our Operations Center in Astoria, NY 11105.

Available Dispatcher shifts include:

Primary Dispatcher Responsibilities include:

• Assigning reservations and dispatching Chauffeurs.
• Maintaining contact with Chauffeurs to ensure the delivery of superior service to our clientele.
• Monitoring flight schedules, airports activities and traffic conditions to help Chauffeurs proactively respond to potential service disruptions.

The ideal applicant will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Experience dispatching preferably with a ground transportation company.
• Able to stay composed dealing with high volume of changing data.
• Experienced using Excel
• Great organizational skills with an eye for details.
• Excellent communication skills.

If you possess these additional qualifications, it’s a plus!

• Experience using Santa Cruz.
