Position Summary

The Physician Assistant provides advanced clinical support to the Cardiothoracic Surgery team through the assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients across the continuum of care. This role includes performing and assisting with procedures in the operating room, such as surgical preparation, first assisting, and postoperative management. The Physician Assistant also performs bedside and in-office procedures as appropriate, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Minimum Qualifications

• Previous Physician Assistant experience preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program required.
• Licensed as a Physician Assistant in the Commonwealth of Kentucky required.
