Service Advisor at Classic Collision – Sandy Springs, Georgia

Classic Collision is now hiring multiple Body Shop Estimator for several of its Georgia locations, including South Atlanta, McDonough, Kennesaw, Chamblee, Lawrenceville, Sugar Hill, Alpharetta, and Rome. Be a part of a rapidly growing company established over 30 years ago and known for quality and customer service in the auto body collision industry. Pay starts at $65k annually but may vary based on experience with benefits, and commission opportunities. This is a full-time position responsible for inspecting vehicles that have been damaged and creates an estimate of the necessary repairs. A typical workday for an Estimate Writer includes inspecting damaged vehicles, consulting guidebooks for repair costs, and creating estimation documents.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare all damage reports accurately and efficiently.
• Obtain all signatures, work authorizations, and powers of attorney.
• Negotiate an agreed price on every job before processing the job.
• Review all final bills and supplemental billings before delivery of the vehicle.
• Review the completed vehicle to check quality and thoroughness.
• Make every effort to satisfy the customer's needs in regards to their automotive repair.
• Make every effort to make a customer or potential customer feel comfortable and welcome during the sales and estimate process.
• Conduct vehicle damage inspections.
• Examine warranty coverage.
• Prepare cost estimate recommendations.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• I-Car certification.
• 1-4 years body shop experience strongly preferred.
• Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills are required.
• Working knowledge of all aspects of repairs for damaged body parts and bodies of vehicles.
• Ability to work in a high-performance, fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to adapt to and work effectively within a constantly changing environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and organization skills are required.
