PRN Ultrasound Tech Position

SUMMARY:
The Registered Ultrasound Tech is responsible and accountable for providing quality imaging of patients to aid in the diagnosis and continuum of care of patients and assist Radiologist with exams.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: Graduate of an Ultrasound/Sonography program
Experience: Minimum of 1 year related experience as a Sonographer
Certifications: ARDMS, ARRT, and current CPR

Ability to stand and walk, bend, squat and twist, and occasionally lift, push and pull up to 100 pounds with proper body mechanics. Spend eight hours or more performing Sonography exams in the department, surgery, emergency department, and patient floors. Must have a keen sense of hearing and visual acuity. Must be able to handle critical and highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure.
