Job Title: HR Assistant / Coordinator (Contract)

Location: Remote, LATM

Schedule: Full-time, working PST hours

About the Role

We’re looking for a highly organized and proactive HR Assistant/Coordinator to support our growing HR consulting team. This is a contract role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can juggle multiple priorities, and communicates professionally in English.

You’ll work closely with our HR Consultants to support a variety of clients across California, helping ensure smooth HR operations, strong organization, and compliance.

We partner with small to mid-sized businesses to manage their HR operations, ensure compliance, and support hiring and employee management. Our team is collaborative, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality HR support.

Key Responsibilities
  • HR & Administrative Support: Assist HR Consultants with day-to-day HR tasks across multiple clients

  • Documentation & Compliance: Help maintain employee records and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date

  • Content & Formatting: Prepare and format HR documents such as employee handbooks, policies, and templates

  • Organization & Tracking: Maintain organized digital files and update internal trackers and spreadsheets

  • Client Support: Communicate professionally with internal team members and occasionally clients

  • General Support: Take on additional tasks and projects as assigned

Requirements
  • Minimum 2+ years of HR or administrative experience (HR preferred)

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills (required)

  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently

  • Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision

  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality

Technical Requirements
  • Reliable laptop/computer

  • Strong, stable internet connection (backup connection preferred)

  • Ability to work full-time PST hours (between 8 AM – 5 PM PST)

Position Details
  • Contract role (independent contractor)

  • Approximately 6-8 hours per day

  • Compensation: $9 to 10 USD per hour
