Job Summary

The Pricing & Product Data Coordinator supports the Category Management Team with the administration of pricing and product information for the company which includes but is not limited to data management and other day to day pricing support for a specific category. This position will also work closely with Category Management, Purchasing, Marketing, and the Sales teams to effectively administer the Pricing & Product function. The Pricing & Product Data Coordinator will report to the Pricing & Product Manager

Schedule

On-Site | Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 8:00 am – 4:00 pm schedule may vary based on business needs

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Category Management to ensure accuracy of supplier product data and pricing for designated category
• Upon receiving new pricing information from suppliers, develop Excel pricing templates and collaborate with Category Managers to ensure that appropriate percentage increases are accurately reflected.
• Provide back-up to update supplier product information files within R.J. Schinner’s computer system such as product description, UPC’s dims, weights, HAZMAT data, and pricing.
• Work with the Purchasing Department to eliminate supplier cost discrepancies on purchase orders
• Coordinate with Sales Management for maintenance on product & pricing information
• Manage margin on pricing files
• Other duties as assigned by management.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skill sets of Advanced VLOOKUP and Formula Knowledge
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt rapidly to changing priorities

Job Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business or finance. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of pricing administration of the designated category within a distribution environment.

Working Environment

The majority of the work day is spent in an office environment. Noise level is moderate. This may vary depending upon specific department projects.

Physical Demands

The employee is frequently required to sit, talk and/or hear; occasionally required to stand, and/or walk. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds while moving files, samples, or small packages. Specific vision abilities are required for this job which may include close vision.
