About This Position

Production Support Administrator

Summary: The Production Support Administrator is a key operational role in the manufacturing of wood acoustic products, responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of documentation, communication, and administrative operations. This position supports production, engineering, and purchasing teams by maintaining accurate records, facilitating cross-functional coordination, and managing daily operational tasks. The administrator also assists with logistics, inventory, and compliance, contributing to project deadlines and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Documentation & Recordkeeping

· Maintain, organize, and distribute production records, build documents, and controlled forms.

· Support creation, updates, and storage of job packets and production files.

· Prepare paperwork for outbound shipments and internal transfers of material and equipment.

· Assist with preparing documentation for Manufacturing Engineering and the Scheduler.

· Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies for documentation.

B. Communication & Coordination

· Facilitate communication across production, engineering, and purchasing teams.

· Track and follow up on production needs, open actions, and document requests.

· Liaise with suppliers to order and manage inventory of raw materials and ensure timely delivery.

· Arrange inbound and outbound freight, providing equipment weights and dimensions as needed.

C. Administrative Operations

· Support daily operational tasks including reporting, meeting coordination, and tracking KPIs.

· Provide administrative support to the Production Manager and Manufacturing Engineering team.

· Organize training sessions for production staff on new equipment or production techniques.

· Assist with purchasing and logistics, including ERP/MRP system updates.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

· Experience in manufacturing or production environments, ideally in wood products or acoustics.

· Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production management software.

· Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

· Experience with logistics, purchasing, and inventory management is a plus.
