Job Description

Description:

Are you a manufacturing leader who knows how to turn production priorities into consistent daily results?

At ENVE, we’re looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to help lead our manufacturing operations and support the supervisors and teams who bring our premium products to life.

This is an opportunity for a strong people leader who enjoys building accountability, solving day-to-day production challenges, and creating an environment where safety, quality, delivery, and teamwork come together. You’ll provide leadership to our Manufacturing Supervisors, coordinate staffing and production priorities, and help ensure our teams have the direction and resources needed to succeed.

ENVE Composites, based in Ogden, Utah, is a leading manufacturer of premium carbon fiber bicycle components and bikes. Since 2007, we’ve been driven by innovation, precision, and a passion for creating world-class products. Our team is made up of dedicated professionals who take pride in their work and support one another in a collaborative environment.

What you’ll do…

This role is focused on strong daily leadership and reliable production execution. You’ll work closely with the Manager of Operations and other company leaders to implement production priorities, maintain operating standards, and support the supervisors responsible for our hourly production teams.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Providing day-to-day direction for manufacturing operations through our Manufacturing Supervisors
  • Coordinating staffing, schedules, work assignments, and production coverage
  • Coaching and developing supervisors while reinforcing accountability and performance expectations
  • Monitoring production results, staffing levels, labor utilization, and operational performance
  • Ensuring consistent compliance with established safety, quality, manufacturing, attendance, and company procedures
  • Addressing routine workforce concerns and escalating significant employee-relations matters when appropriate
  • Implementing production priorities, process changes, and operational decisions established by leadership
  • Supporting continuous improvement efforts focused on productivity, safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Managing labor and operating resources within established guidelines and budget parameters

This role is probably a great fit if you…

  • Enjoy leading through other leaders and helping supervisors become more effective
  • Can set clear expectations and hold teams accountable in a respectful, consistent way
  • Stay composed when staffing, schedules, or production priorities change
  • Understand how safety, quality, people, materials, and schedules work together
  • Are comfortable addressing routine performance and workflow concerns
  • Know when to resolve an issue independently and when to involve Operations leadership, Human Resources, Quality, or Engineering
  • Can balance immediate production needs with continuous improvement
  • Communicate clearly across departments and at different levels of the organization

What Success Looks Like

In this role, you’ll help ENVE:

  • Consistently meet daily production, safety, quality, and delivery expectations
  • Build capable, accountable, and well-supported Manufacturing Supervisors
  • Improve staffing coordination and workforce execution
  • Strengthen attendance, scheduling, and day-to-day performance management
  • Maintain consistent application of company policies and operating procedures
  • Implement approved process and production changes effectively
  • Identify practical opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, safety, and quality

We’re not looking for someone who simply monitors production from the sidelines. We’re looking for a visible, engaged leader who can provide clear direction, coach supervisors, reinforce expectations, and help resolve the everyday challenges that affect manufacturing performance.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
  • Five+ years of manufacturing leadership experience
  • Two+ years of experience leading supervisors or multiple production teams
  • Experience managing daily production performance, staffing, attendance, workforce performance, and operational improvements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to prepare reports, business correspondence, and technical documentation
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of bicycles, bicycle components, and cycling products
  • Lean manufacturing experience
  • Continuous improvement training
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning or manufacturing execution systems
  • Bilingual English and Spanish skills
  • Experience in the outdoor industry

Skills That Matter

  • Clear and consistent leadership
  • Coaching and employee development
  • Accountability and conflict resolution
  • Production scheduling and staffing coordination
  • Sound judgment and appropriate escalation
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, inventory flow, safety requirements, and quality systems
  • Ability to monitor results and address workflow concerns
  • Cross-functional communication and collaboration
  • Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Work Schedule & Environment

  • Full-time, regularly scheduled onsite position
  • Monday through Friday, eight hours per day, or a 9/80 schedule
  • Occasional evening or weekend work may be required based on business needs

  • The manufacturing environment may include exposure to machinery, dust, and loud noise
  • The position requires periods of sitting, standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching

This is an opportunity to help shape the daily performance of ENVE’s manufacturing operation while developing the supervisors and teams responsible for building exceptional products. If you’re energized by people leadership, operational execution, and the pursuit of better manufacturing results, we’d love to meet you.
