The Training Center Coordinator supports the administration, compliance, coordination, and delivery of Safe Life’s programs across the American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), Health & Safety Institute (HSI), and other approved certification organizations. This role helps ensure high-quality, compliant, and well-coordinated experiences for instructors, customers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage instructor recruitment, onboarding, alignments, renewals, and ongoing support across AHA, ARC, HSI, and other approved programs.
- Maintain instructor certifications, compliance documentation, Training Site agreements, and related program records.
- Maintain accurate course rosters, completion records, certification documentation, and records in accordance with applicable retention and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate issuance and tracking of certification cards, eCards, and completion documentation.
- Support compliance with AHA, ARC, HSI, and other applicable program standards, Program Administration Manuals, internal policies, and operational procedures.
- Conduct instructor and Training Site monitoring activities, audits, corrective actions, and compliance follow-up as needed.
- Monitor instructor eligibility, certification status, and ongoing compliance with applicable program requirements.
- Ensure approved curriculum materials, equipment, instructor-to-student ratios, and training standards are consistently followed.
- Coordinate schedules, instructor assignments, equipment readiness, inventory, and operational logistics with internal teams.
- Partner with customer service, sales, operations, and training staff to support successful customer experiences and program execution.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for instructor, Training Site, and internal team questions related to operations, policies, and requirements.
- Support implementation of curriculum updates, policy changes, workflow improvements, and process standardization.
- Maintain accurate, organized, and audit-ready documentation while appropriately handling sensitive information.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred.
- Previous experience as an AHA Training Center Coordinator and familiarity with ARC, HSI, or similar certification programs strongly preferred.
- Must be a currently certified AHA instructor with at least two years of teaching experience and the ability to maintain required credentials.
- Minimum of one year of experience in training coordination, compliance administration, healthcare education, customer support, or operational support preferred.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication, coordination, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and similar administrative systems.
- Ability to adapt to evolving structures, processes, and priorities with a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with customers and colleagues at all levels of the organization.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to occasionally lift and move materials (up to ~25 lbs).
- Ability to move between office, training, or storage areas as needed.
