Nurse - PACU at SURGERY CENTER JV – Huntsville, Alabama

**NO NIGHTS, NO WEEKENDS, NO HOLIDAYS, NO ON CALL**

• Responsible for the delivery of post-surgical patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Provides post anesthesia instructions, including wound care, what to expect after surgery, and when to call their surgeon regarding complications or problems.
• Assesses patient's pain level, providing safe and adequate relief measures in accordance with the recommended physician's orders.
• Directing, coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices
• Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes

Education: Graduate of state board School of Nursing with current Alabama or multi-state licensure

Experience: Experience preferred; new graduates accepted.

Additional Skill/Abilities: BLS required before the conclusion of the orientation period. ACLS within 60 days of hire.
