JOB SUMMARY
The Transportation Shuttle Driver provides safe and reliable transportation services to participants, ensuring a high standard of customer service. This role involves operating Viticus Group vehicles, such as vans, SUVs, or coaches, in compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines, including Department of Transportation (DOT) and Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) regulations. Collaboration with internal teams, including CSAs, Food and Beverage, Education, and Human Health, is essential to ensure seamless service delivery.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education & Certification Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must pass a physical and drug test for DOT compliance.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to obtain a CDL for interstate commerce and to receive endorsements for passengers or hazardous materials.
- Commercial Driver’s License -Class B CDL with a Passenger (P) endorsement would be required.
- 2+ years of driving experience.
Skills & Abilities:
- Judgment & Problem-Solving: Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills to ensure safe and efficient transportation
- Communication: Advanced ability to read and interpret written information. Must be able to write clearly and informatively, edit for spelling and grammar, and communicate effectively in various situations. Must demonstrate group presentation skills and participate actively in meetings.
- Customer Service: Demonstrates professionalism, passion, and compassion in interactions with participants, ensuring a positive experience.
- Collaborative Relationships: Ability to foster and maintain strong internal and external relationships, providing necessary support to uphold the organization's quality of service.

- Education & Presentation Skills: Ability to educate others about the program through formal and informal presentations.

- Willingness and ability to travel for company-related business, including events, trainings, and operational support, while maintaining professional conduct and communication.
- Capability to set appropriate boundaries while nurturing supportive relationships with staff and board members.
- Demonstrates respect and dignity in all interactions with employees, board members, and external entities.
JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES
Transportation & Customer Service:
- Safely provide shuttle driving services for participants using Viticus Group vehicles (vans, SUVs, or coaches).
- Greet participants and passengers with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Assist passengers as needed, including helping with luggage or mobility aids.
- Offer local dining and activity recommendations to enhance participant experience.
- Assist CSAs with participant sign-ins and waiver collections.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors for additional transportation needs.
- Fleet Management & Safety:
- Perform weekly transportation safety checks to ensure fleet vehicles are operating efficiently and safely.
- Assist with coordinating vehicle maintenance schedules as needed.
- Support & Collaboration:
- Provide support to CSAs by answering participant questions and addressing any concerns.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Food and Beverage, Education, Human Health) to ensure smooth transportation logistics.
- Assist Transportation Supervisor with consolidating fuel receipts via the WEX card.

- Close vision required to see computer monitors, read documents, and operate copy and fax machines.
- Distance vision is required to drive an automobile if driving is a requirement of the job.
Work Environment
- Work environment is indoors and climate-controlled.
- Occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
- Moderate noise levels as found in a business office with computer printers, households with TVs and dishwashers, and driving in light traffic.
