Technical Support Spec I

JOB SUMMARY

Technical Support Specialist I is to oversee and maintain computer hardware and software systems. Specialist aid in resolving technical issues concerning client’s daily operation or software infrastructure. A Technical Support Specialist I will also support computer software integration by diagnosing and troubleshooting common problems.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education

  • High School or Equivalent.

Minimum Work Experience

  • No previous experience

Required Licenses/Certifications

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to use critical thinking skills to analyze and solve problems
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and tasks
  • Ability to work successfully in a team environment
  • Occasional night, weekend, and holiday work
  • Occasional off-campus and overnight travel for site visits and training
  • Customer service or helpdesk experience helpful
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Perform minor maintenance and repair to Information Technology Services equipment
  • Replace cartridges, paper and other consumables as needed on printers
  • Provide troubleshooting solutions for computer or operating system issues that affect daily activities
  • Install, monitor, and uninstall PCs/Printers/Scanners/Mobile/Peripherals/etc
  • Hospital rounding
  • Media support
  • Work request
  • Reporting
