Senior Content Executive, Cosmopolitan (Social Media) at South China Morning Post

Purpose of the position:

We are looking for a Senior Content Executive to join our team in Cosmopolitan Hong Kong, specializing in social media content creation, particularly on Xiao Hong Shu. This position is ideal for a creative and dynamic individual who is passionate about beauty and lifestyle trends.

In this role, you will:

• Create and share engaging beauty and lifestyle content on Cosmopolitan Hong Kong social media platforms particularly on Xiao Hong Shu.
• Manage Cosmopolitan Hong Kong official Xiao Hong Shu account.
• Grasp the pulse of hot topics and create engaging written and visual content across various social media platforms in order to draw engagement and followers

• Interview and create feature stories with celebrities, industry KOL or public figures, in text and video format.

• Work closely with other departments on visuals, photo shoots and video shoots
• Work with sales and marketing departments to produce promotional content
• Manage freelance contributors

Skills and Experience that will lead to success:

• Degree holder in any disciplines or equivalent with minimum 1 year of online content experience preferably in Xiao Hong Shu
• Knowledge in beauty and feature topics and understanding of the beauty/ lifestyle trend
• Experience in video content creation
• Willing to be a video host is a plus
• Creative, outgoing and able to work independently
• Agile and dynamic, able to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
• Possess an excellent eye for details and a good team player
• Proficient in written and spoken Cantonese, Chinese and English

Work location will be at Wong Chuk Hang office.
