Vet Technician at Community Veterinary Partners – Clearwater, Florida

We are seeking experienced veterinary technicians to join our full-service, small pet hospital in Clearwater (majority dogs, cats, few exotics/rabbits/pocket pets). We have full-time and part-time positions available with competitive wages and an excellent benefits package. Licensed technicians will receive a minimum of $15.00 per hour and non-licensed technicians will receive compensation based on experience. $100 signing bonus will be paid after 3 months.

Our ideal candidate:

· Is a "people person", friendly and organized.

· Is able to multi-task while still maintaining enthusiasm when providing exceptional client care.

· Has a minimum of 6 months experience in a veterinary clinic.

· Doesn’t mind staying later than their scheduled shift to help pets in need or finish client call backs.

· Helps to maintain positive culture and work environment.

· Takes constructive criticism well.

· Has physical abilities which include the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as well as manipulate (lift, carry, move) up to 40 pounds.

· Must be able to work most Saturdays as a regular shift (we are closed Sundays). We also require 1 Sunday every 2 months to take care of boarded pets.

· Has strong desire to learn more about the veterinary field and pet care.

· Is open to mentorship as well as personal and professional development for possible promotion in the future.
