Manager Sterile Reprocessing at Crouse Hospital – Syracuse, New York

The Manager is responsible for the performance and activities within the Sterile Processing Department and for employees functioning in a Sterile Processing Technician role within the organization. The manager assesses and maintains regulated standards of practice for reprocessing reusable medical devices and equipment while ensuring adherence to high levels of performance.

Job Requirements:

Education/Certification/ Licensure:

Associate Degree in medical or business field. Or some post-secondary education and combination of experience

Certification as Sterile Processing/Distribution Technician or Instrument Processing Technician is required. Certification with the certifying agency must be maintained throughout their employment at Crouse Hospital, re-certifying as required and in accordance with the certifying agency guidelines.

Experience:

Required: Four (4) years’ experience as a Sterile Processing/Distribution Technician in a hospital setting. Previous leadership experience.
