Accounts Receivable Specialist at Pipp Mobile Storage Systems Inc – Grand Rapids, Michigan

Pipp Mobile Storage Systems, Inc. is a dynamic and innovative organization committed to delivering excellence to our customers. As a rapidly growing company, we are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support our accounting department.

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for the AR functions as well as providing back up support to the other accounting functions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Accurate application of cash receivables.
• Maintaining cash flow/daily banking reconciliation spreadsheets.
• Assisting with invoicing using web portals and other means.
• Distributing invoices according to customer-specific requirements, including invoices and billing through customer-specific websites.
• Researching unapplied cash and resolving discrepancies.
• Processing, transmitting, and running credit card transactions for customer sales and refunds.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in accounting or related field, 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent experience and education is preferred.
• Knowledge and understanding of accounts payable and general accounting procedures.
• Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems.

This position is eligible for a hybrid work option. Essential functions may be performed on-site or remotely. Once trained and approved, this position reports to an on-site facility for a minimum of 2 full shifts each week and may work remotely the remainder of the week.
