About This Position

About the Role:

As a Quality Team Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our manufacturing processes meet the highest standards of quality. You will be responsible for conducting inspections, identifying defects, and implementing corrective actions to prevent defects from recurring. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will help us maintain our reputation as a leader in the manufacturing industry. In this role, you will work closely with other members of the quality team to continuously improve our processes and products.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of quality control principles and practices
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Certification in quality control or related field
  • Experience with statistical process control
  • Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems
  • Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of products and processes to identify defects
  • Implement corrective actions to prevent defects from recurring
  • Collaborate with other members of the quality team to continuously improve processes and products
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and corrective actions
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure quality standards are met

Skills:

In this role, you will use your knowledge of quality control principles and practices to conduct inspections and implement corrective actions. You will also use your problem-solving skills to identify the root cause of defects and develop effective solutions. Your ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications will be essential to ensuring that our products meet the required standards.
