Quality Inspector - PM (Overnight Shift) at WELLMADE INDUSTRIES MFR NA LLC – Cartersville, Georgia

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for monitoring and evaluating the quality of flooring products at different stages—ranging from raw materials to final installation. This role ensures that the products are defect-free, comply with industry standards, and meet the company's quality expectations.

We are looking for dedicated Quality Control Inspectors to join our team on the night shift across multiple departments including Extrusion, UV, and Profile. This role is key to ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

• 12 Hour Rotating Shift (6:45pm-7:00am)
• Inspects in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
• Approves products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests (with different quality tools), returning products for re-work, and confirming re-work, putting questionable quality products on hold, identifying and reporting waste.
• Visual and measurement tests and rejecting and returning unacceptable quality materials.
• Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, and inputting data into quality databases.
• Keeps measuring equipment operating by following operating instructions and calibration requirements and calling for repairs.
• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
• Following and practicing Quality Control Training manual and taking full responsibility for quality incidents at their work area
• Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Management
• The Quality Inspector will report directly to the Quality Manager.
