Position Title: Procurement Coordinator

Role and Responsibilities:

As the Assistant Buyer at Moveras, LLC, you will play a pivotal role at Moveras by managing the procurement of parts, supplies, and equipment essential for daily production. The Assistant Buyer will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. The successful candidate will work closely with suppliers and maintain strong relationships to support the company's operational needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Procurement Management: Oversee quoting, purchasing, receiving, and restocking processes to ensure seamless operations aligned with quality and lead time standards
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong supplier relationships to secure competitive pricing and ensure optimal product availability
  • Manage inventory
  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies in line with company objectives
  • Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to secure the best prices and quality
  • Manage purchase orders, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of goods and services
  • Coordinate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and provide appropriate solutions
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers promptly and effectively
  • Follow process and ensure ownership of the process
  • Ensure no stock out issues and build strong communication with internal customers and vendors
  • Provide cross coverage as needed
