RN GI at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

Our GI Lab has three procedure rooms with 1:1 care and nine recovery bays with 1:4 ratio. This position requires critical thinking skills, pre & post assessment, moderate sedation administration & physio control monitoring of patients intraprocedure. Orientation & cross training into this unit is specific to each individual with experienced staff readily available for guidance. Experience in PACU or ICU is preferred. On call hours required & location flexibility a plus. Support staff is an intricate part of the team on this unit. ACLS is required but can be obtained thru our Career Institute.
