Position Overview
The Site-Based Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for providing group and one-on-one services to autistic clients based on specific interventions that are derived from an individualized curriculum. The services are designed to continue the development of the social skills necessary to more fully interact with other children and are applied based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. The Site-Based Behavior Health Technicians will follow the direction of the Lead Behavior Health Technician responsible for each group, but overall supervision will fall to the Assistant Supervisor.

Qualifications
1. Must meet one of the following:
- Certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA). Certification as a Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT).
- Have a High School Diploma, or equivalent, and complete 40 hours of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training (before seeing clients). (can be done through KidsPeace)
- Have at least 2 years of ABA experience and 40 hours of RBT training.
2. Experience working with special needs population and/or experience working in a setting that utilizes Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
3. Valid driver’s license
4. Must possess basic personal computer knowledge and skills.
5. Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
