Description:

About CamFit

CamFit is a multi-studio Orangetheory Fitness franchisee committed to delivering a world-class fitness experience through science-backed, heart rate-based interval training. In 60 minutes, our members reach their optimal heart rate zones, burn calories, and build a stronger, healthier life.

Every role at CamFit is a role in changing lives.

We are a people-first organization. We hire for energy, develop for excellence, and promote from within.

About the Role

The Studio Manager is the business operator of the studio. While the Head Coach owns the fitness product, the Studio Manager owns the business: sales performance, team development, member experience, studio operations, financial health, and the culture that holds it all together.

As Studio Manager, you will lead day-to-day studio operations, drive revenue, develop your team, and create a studio culture built on energy, accountability, and genuine care for members. You will partner closely with the Head Coach to align the member experience and ensure the studio runs with excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership and Revenue Performance
  • Own studio revenue performance, including new memberships, renewals, and retail.
  • Lead the full sales process from inquiry through membership conversion.
  • Execute lead generation strategies, community outreach, and in-studio marketing campaigns.
  • Track sales metrics, intro conversion, and studio performance trends.
  • Provide regular KPI reporting to the Regional Business Manager.
  • Hold the team accountable to daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals.
Team Development and Staffing
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop studio staff.
  • Lead, coach, and hold sales associates accountable to performance standards.
  • Conduct regular coaching conversations, performance reviews, and development check-ins.
  • Partner with the Head Coach to create a positive, high-performance studio culture.
  • Maintain an active talent pipeline for sales associates and coaches.
  • Identify high-potential members who may be a fit for future roles at CamFit.
Member Experience and Studio Culture
  • Build a studio community where members feel seen, valued, and connected.
  • Create regular member touchpoints through recognition, milestone celebrations, challenges, and events.
  • Handle escalated member concerns with professionalism and a resolution-focused mindset.
  • Model the energy, hospitality, and accountability expected from the team.
  • Ensure the studio is a place people want to work and work out.
Studio Operations and Financial Management
  • Lead all aspects of studio operations, including scheduling, sales systems, staffing, compliance, and reporting.
  • Manage studio budget, payroll, inventory, cost controls, and vendor relationships.
  • Review sales associate payroll, timecards, and processing for accuracy.
  • Ensure adherence to Orangetheory Fitness brand standards, company policies, and operational systems.
  • Execute and document monthly preventative maintenance standards.
  • Submit and follow up on facilities and repair needs through the company’s ticketing system.
Cleanliness and Brand Standards
  • Maintain a second-to-none cleanliness standard across the entire studio, including the fitness floor, lobby, locker rooms, restrooms, and back-of-house areas.
  • Ensure every team member upholds cleanliness standards on every shift.
  • Address cleanliness, maintenance, or facility concerns immediately.
Marketing and Community Engagement
  • Plan and execute promotional events, member engagement initiatives, studio contests, and local partnerships.
  • Build relationships in the local community to drive awareness, referrals, and new membership.
  • Represent CamFit and Orangetheory Fitness with professionalism at external events and partnerships.

Required Qualifications

  • 2–3+ years of sales leadership and management experience required; fitness industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Experience leading teams, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM or scheduling software; MindBody experience preferred.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, Exercise Science, or a related field.
  • Experience managing a P&L or studio-level budget.
  • Familiarity with Orangetheory Fitness brand standards and operations.

This Role is Right for You If...

  • You are as energized by a strong sales day as you are by a packed class.
  • You can develop a team, run the business, and still be the first person to welcome a new member.
  • You hold a high bar and hold it consistently.
  • You want to build a studio that people in the community talk about.
  • You understand that sales, service, cleanliness, culture, and staffing are all part of running a strong studio.

Career Growth at CamFit

Studio Managers who consistently deliver on performance, culture, and team development are a natural pipeline for Regional Business Manager roles at CamFit.

What We Offer

  • Competitive base compensation.
  • Company incentive programs that evolve with business needs.
  • Major medical, dental, and vision benefits for full-time employees.
  • Long-term and short-term disability insurance and life insurance options.
  • Complimentary Orangetheory Fitness membership.
  • Employee discounts on apparel and retail.
  • A clear path to advancement within a growing franchise network.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to walk the studio floor and demonstrate basic equipment use as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs for studio setup, events, and operational tasks.

Schedule

This is a full-time role requiring flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Studio hours of operation drive the schedule; this is not a standard 9-to-5 role.
