Bogle Family Wine Collection (BFWC) is located in the heart of the AVA of Clarksburg, California, and is run by the sixth generation of Bogles, who live and work in the Sacramento Delta region. Position Summary:
Under supervision of the Facilities Coordinator, this role keeps the maintenance shop organized & clean, receives and distributes packages, monitors parts inventory, performs parts pick up and assists Maintenance Mechanics in the shop and field, as needed.
Essential Functions:
- Maintains shop organization & cleanliness, including tools, spare parts and equipment.
- Acts as Point Person for the Shipping & Receiving of packages picked up & delivered by common carriers and distributes them to the appropriate recipient within the company.
- Monitors parts inventory levels and accuracy, to assist in ordering and restocking processes.
- Movement of tools, materials & equipment to/from projects and company facilities.
- Performs routine monitoring / logging duties of facility systems as required.
- Picks up parts at suppliers as needed.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Driver’s License required and must be insurable by company’s insurance provider.
- Able to safely operate, & satisfy Company certification for, Golf Carts & Industrial Forklift Trucks.
- Effective communication skills to report issues and collaborate with team members.
- An understanding of one's own learning style or a willingness to develop one.
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a high-quality standard.
- Team oriented mindset with a willingness to assist team members.
- Seasonal variation in workload, long hours, and availability to work overtime during harvest are required.
- Willingness to help with any given task.
- Ability to follow directions and ask questions if unsure.
- Ability to perform tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Mechanical aptitude/mechanical skills a plus.
- Basic computer skills with the capability to learn & develop new ones.
Working Conditions:
Working conditions in winery operations can be hot or cold, wet, slippery and noisy, and involve exposure to potentially hazardous conditions. Must be able to work at heights.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand, bend, walk, sit, twist, grasp, push and pull and lift 55 pounds occasionally. Compensation range: $23.00 - $26.00 / hour
