Creative Production Manager in New York at Jobgether

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Creative Production Manager based in the United States.

This role combines hands-on creative execution with the organization and coordination needed to keep a fast-moving studio running smoothly. You will manage creative requests from initial intake through design, review, approval, production, and final delivery. At the same time, you will work directly in the creative, designing and adapting assets across digital, presentation, print, environmental, and production applications. You will collaborate closely with clients, designers, production partners, and other stakeholders to maintain quality and momentum. The role requires strong design judgment, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a responsive environment. You will also have opportunities to use AI-powered creative tools to accelerate exploration, versioning, and production workflows.

• Manage incoming creative requests from client intake through design, review, approval, production, and final delivery.
• Translate creative requests into clear tasks, priorities, timelines, and deliverables for the studio team.
• Design, adapt, version, and produce polished creative across digital, presentations, print, environmental, and production applications.
• Use Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator to execute design work, prepare images, construct files, and produce production-ready artwork and PDFs.
• Review and QA creative work for accuracy, brand consistency, technical quality, and completeness.
• Prepare final files and coordinate with printers, fabricators, vendors, and other production partners.
• Manage client feedback, revisions, approvals, and creative handoffs while keeping projects moving efficiently.
• Monitor studio workload, deadlines, priorities, and design capacity to support effective resource allocation.
• Use AI-powered creative tools where appropriate for design exploration, image and video generation, versioning, upscaling, and production efficiency.
• Communicate proactively with clients, designers, production partners, and internal stakeholders regarding project status, requirements, and potential issues.
• Help identify opportunities to streamline creative production processes and improve studio efficiency.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in graphic design, production design, creative production, or a related agency or in-house creative environment.
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Strong production design capabilities, including image preparation, file setup, prepress, and creation of production-ready artwork and PDFs.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating excellent typography, layout, imagery, and visual design across a range of applications.
• Experience working within established brand systems and applying creative direction consistently across multiple formats and deliverables.
• Proven ability to manage multiple creative requests, priorities, deadlines, and feedback cycles in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of print and physical production processes, including preparing files for external vendors, fabricators, and production partners.
• Excellent organizational, communication, collaboration, and client-facing skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to confidently review and QA both your own work and the work of other designers.
• Comfortable working with project management, collaboration, and AI-powered creative tools as part of a modern creative workflow.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools such as GPT Image or Gemini Nano Banana, or node-based workflow platforms such as Fuser, is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a broader creative team.
• Strong ownership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to remain calm and solutions-oriented when priorities or timelines change.
• Willingness to participate in a rotating studio schedule that includes non-traditional hours, weekends, and holidays.
