Job Description
Riverbend Community Mental Health is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and service-focused Administrative Assistant to join our Administration Team. If you enjoy being the person who keeps things organized, helps others get what they need, and can confidently manage multiple priorities, this may be the opportunity for you. You’ll work closely with Finance, Human Resources, Training, Senior Leadership, and other Administrative teams, gaining broad exposure to the operations of a mission-driven behavioral health organization.
This is more than a reception or clerical position. As an Administrative Assistant at Riverbend, you’ll be an important part of the infrastructure that keeps a complex behavioral health organization moving. From supporting new employees and clinical credentialing to assisting Finance, Training, Human Resources, and Senior Leadership, your work will touch many areas of the organization.

This position offers the opportunity to:
- Be a key point of contact for Riverbend’s Administration Team and help create a welcoming experience for visitors, employees, and community partners.
- Work across multiple administrative functions, including Finance, Human Resources, Training, Credentialing, and Senior Leadership.

What You’ll Do
- Provide professional reception and administrative support for Riverbend’s Administration Team.
- Support Finance, Human Resources, Training, and Clinical Credentialing with records, scheduling, onboarding, reporting, and other administrative needs.
- Coordinate office operations, including mail, supplies, building access, conference rooms, and agency materials.
- Maintain accurate employee, training, credentialing, and organizational records.
- Support the agency Intranet, staff communications, employee engagement activities, and special projects.
- Provide administrative support to Senior Leadership and Executive Assistants as needed.
- Help maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional workplace environment.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office and common administrative systems.

What You’ll Bring
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required; college degree preferred.
- Two (2) years of general office experience preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Word and PowerPoint is required.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with attention to detail is required.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
- Credentialing experience preferred.
- Strong technical skills are required.
- A valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance with minimum coverage of 100,00/300,00 are essential.
