MRI Aide in Asheboro, North Carolina at Randolph Health

Maintains supplies and stocks new supplies. Helps screen patients and brings them to the exam room. Helps with setting up the machine for the various procedures, positions patient on the table for he technologist. Makes sure the room is cleaned between patients. The radiology aide will also help in the ordering of all necessary supplies. The radiology aide is responsible for transporting patients to and from scanner and dressing room in a safe and secure manner to include: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adult, and geriatric patients. Able to lift, support, and transfer safely, patients to and from stretchers, wheelchairs and beds. Physical capabilities shall be adequate to insure and meet patient safety handling requirements. Should be adept in communication with patients, physicians, and co-workers in a friendly and supportive manner. Some computer skills. Physical capabilities for lifting and moving films. Current BCLS required. Previous experience preferred.
