Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Attorney with 3-7 years of legal experience to join our dynamic legal team with a growing company in the direct selling industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract review and drafting.
Experience in any of the following areas is a plus: advertising law; regulatory matters within the dietary supplement industry and/or the medical device industry; experience in global privacy and data protection; and experience in the direct selling industry.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities for this role.
Requirements:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements.
- Provide legal advice and support on regulatory compliance, particularly within the dietary supplement industry.
- Assist in the development and implementation of global privacy and data protection policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Support the legal team in managing legal risks and opportunities related to the direct selling industry.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant legal developments.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in good standing.
- 3-7 years of legal experience, with a focus on contract review and drafting.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment & Physical Demands
LifeWave will operate as an in-office organization, and all employees are required to work onsite in alignment with corporate policy. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to work at a computer workstation and be mobile within the office. Occasional movement of up to 25 pounds may be required.
