Pediatric Speech/Language Pathologist in St. Louis, Missouri at Miriam School and Learning Center

Miriam Learning Center is a leading provider of special education services in the St. Louis area for students age 2 to 18, catering to students with diagnosed or undiagnosed diverse learning needs. QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master's degree from an accredited school
• Licensed in the state of Missouri
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language- Hearing Association
• Experience in providing speech and language evaluations and treatment to children and/or adolescents in a school-based setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. To provide a comprehensive and professional assessment of each child's strengths and weaknesses as they relate to speech/language pathology issues.
2. To write a comprehensive evaluation report summarizing findings and making appropriate recommendations.
3. To meet with parents and/or school staff to provide feedback on test results and findings.
4. To maintain contact with other professionals to ensure coordinated evaluation efforts.
5. To submit billing and payroll in a timely manner.
6. Any other duties as specified by the supervisor and/or school staff.
