Logistics Specialist in Commerce, California at ROYPOW (USA) TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD

ROYPOW USA is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to support and coordinate our logistics operations and ensure the efficient movement of products and materials. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating shipments, managing logistics documentation, communicating with carriers and suppliers, tracking deliveries, and supporting the overall supply chain process to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Request and compare freight quotes and book shipments with selected carriers.
• Track shipments and deliveries and maintain accurate delivery dates and status updates in the system.
• Handle shipment delays, losses, damages, refusals, and other transportation exceptions, including filing and following up on claims.
• Contact customers to coordinate the return of batteries, parts, or other materials, arrange carrier pickups, and track the items until they are returned to the warehouse.
• Organize and analyze freight data to support transportation cost-reduction initiatives.
• Download, organize, and maintain monthly carrier invoices and supporting documents.
• Verify shipment details, charges, customer information, and other billing data, and follow up on discrepancies.
• Match and organize freight charges by customer for reporting and accounting purposes.
• Collect and upload Proof of Delivery documents and other shipping records.
• Submit payment requests based on sales shipment records and carrier invoices.
• Perform other logistics, billing, and data-management duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of U.S. domestic LTL, FTL, and parcel shipping is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data organization and invoice reconciliation.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, responsibility, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with customers, carriers, sales, warehouse, and accounting teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond promptly to transportation issues and urgent requests.

Job Type:

• Full-time
• Salary Range: Negotiable and will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
