JOB SUMMARY:
The Treasury Services Department is responsible for the sales and support of the bank’s Treasury Services (TS) products. The Specialist position will encompass various aspects of TS, including sales support, implementation, documentation, and ongoing servicing of the bank’s TS clients. The Specialist will regularly interact with both internal bank sales personnel and external clients and will act as product expert for all TS products and services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Under general supervision, responsible for all pre/post technical implementation of new cash/treasury management business, providing customer service and ongoing product management; as well as identify new business relationships.
- Handle complex implementations, customer relationships, and recommend new products.
- Ensure that all operations, administrative, and customer service duties associated with TS are executed professionally and efficiently through initial set-up, implementation, and ongoing service.
- Product expert for all TS products and services with the ability to act as a resource for all internal bank business areas and external clients.
- Support incoming client and bank personnel inquiries in a timely and accurate manner including receive, research, and resolve client issues related to Online Banking and TS products and services.
- Responsible for providing pre/post technical, operational support, and troubleshooting assistance to ensure clients are fully enabled to utilize the features of Online Banking and TS products, including but not limited to, Online and Mobile Banking, Bill Payment, Remote Deposit, Positive Pay, Wires, ACH Origination, and Account Analysis.
- Installs appropriate software and leads/participates in client training sessions to educate clients on the proper use of the TS products.
- Performs Remote Deposit Capture clients’ site visits, equipment installations and training.
- Appropriately initiates actions necessary to meet client needs without explicit management direction or guidance. Uses good judgment in determining when management involvement is required.
- Actively ensures compliance with Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering, USA Patriot Act, information security, and suspicious activity reporting requirements, policies and procedures.
- Perform routine and scheduled operational tasks such as report review, file transfers, customer monitoring, and other assigned duties in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist in the coordination and support of audits and examinations.
- Adhere to all Bank Policies and Procedures.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- In-depth knowledge, and experience in bank operations and Treasury Management products and services.
- Experience in financial services, specifically in a cash/treasury services role or related area.
- A high level of client service, interpersonal skills, and professionalism to communicate effectively throughout the Bank and to represent the Bank positively to current and potential clients.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Must be self-directed, motivated and require little supervision.
- Knowledge of the organization, products, services, and operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Designation as a certified Cash Manager or Certified Treasury Professional would be a plus.
Education/Licenses/Work Experience:
- The incumbent typically has a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred)
- Five or more years of experience in cash/treasury management.
