Job Description

ThoughtSpot is a Data & AI platform that helps companies turn data into enterprise advantage. We're Gartner MQ leaders with more than 1,000 customers globally and offices in Mountain View, Chicago, London, Bangalore, Sydney, and Tokyo.

Senior Technical Architect – Embedded Analytics

About the Role

The Senior Technical Architect – Embedded Analytics is a specialist who partners with Account Executives, Solutions Engineers, and Customer Outcomes on ThoughtSpot Embedded Analytics (TSE) opportunities, serving as the go-to expert for embedded analytics. You are the person customers and internal teams turn to when the work gets technical. That means integration patterns, API and SDK implementation, and recommending best practices for how TSE should be implemented within their application. You bring that depth and expertise across new business, expansions, and renewals, and take the voice of the customer back to Product and Engineering to help shape the roadmap.

TSE enables organizations to bring AI-powered analytics directly into their SaaS platforms and digital products. This role is part of a specialist team supporting opportunities across Enterprise, Commercial, and SMB segments in North America, spanning all industries.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with Account Executives and Solutions Engineers on new and expansion TSE opportunities, and with Customer Outcomes on renewals, providing technical leadership for Proof of Value initiatives and beyond.
  • Guide customers on integrating TSE into their applications, working directly with their product managers and software engineers on API and SDK implementation, Authentication/SSO, multi-tenancy, and data security patterns.
  • Provide architectural guidance, best practices, and solutioning as customers expand their TSE deployments and troubleshoot technical challenges as they arise.
  • Bring the voice of the customer back to Product and Engineering to help shape the TSE roadmap.
  • Build and contribute to technical assets, reference architectures, and reusable integration patterns that help the broader team move faster on TSE opportunities.

What We Measure

  • Increasing win rates through successful Proof of Value engagements and technical evaluations.
  • Accelerating adoption of TSE within customer SaaS platforms and digital products.
  • Delivering integrations and architectures that hold up as customers grow.
  • Sharing embedded analytics expertise and best practices that make the team around you better.

Who You Are

You have 5+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, application architecture, or data platform architecture. You have worked with SaaS product teams integrating analytics into applications and are comfortable doing the hands-on integration work, not just advising on it. You have real experience with APIs, SDKs, and frontend integration, and have supported enterprise deployments and customer environments.

Technical Expertise

  • APIs, SDKs, and developer platforms
  • Frontend integration of analytics components and modern application frameworks
  • Authentication frameworks and protocols including OAuth and SAML
  • Multi-tenant SaaS application environments
  • Data governance and security architectures
  • Cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, and Redshift
  • SQL and analytical data modeling

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with an embedded analytics platform such as Tableau, Looker, Sigma, Omni, or Sisense Embedded
  • Experience building or shipping analytics features within a SaaS product
  • Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and containerized deployment environments

The Salary Range for this role is:
$160,000 - $235,000
