About the Role
The A+D Channel Manager drives business growth and brand advocacy within the architecture and design (A&D) community. This role builds trusted relationships with designers, architects, and specifiers while positioning Fabuwood as a leading semi-custom cabinetry brand. The A+D Channel Manager delivers compelling brand storytelling, product education, Continuing Education Units (CEUs), and technical support — guiding trade partners from inspiration to recommendation and ultimately through to specification of the brand to their clients. This reports into the Channel Lead within the marketing organization and partners cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to generate opportunities, support project conversion, execute trade events, and share market insights.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Building & Brand Advocacy
- Cultivate and maintain trusted relationships with architects, interior designers, and specifiers across targeted geographies
- Serve as the primary point of contact and brand ambassador for the A&D community, representing Fabuwood's core values and value propositions
- Identify and engage key A&D influencers and firms to build a pipeline of brand advocates.
Product Education & Technical Support
- Deliver engaging product education sessions, lunch-and-learns, and CEU-accredited presentations to design and architecture firms.
- Provide technical guidance on cabinetry specifications, construction, finishes, and applications to support project design and specifications.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource throughout the project lifecycle, from initial inspiration through final specification.
Business Development & Specification Influence
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the trade and design community.
- Influence and support the specification process to drive project conversion and pull-through sales.
- Track and report on project pipeline, specification wins, and market opportunities.
- Support & promote Fabuwood Trade Partner Program
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Sales teams to hand off qualified opportunities and support deal conversion.
- Collaborate with Marketing on messaging, collateral, and campaigns tailored to the A&D audience.
- Work with Product teams to relay market feedback, emerging design trends, and specifier needs.
Trade Events & Market Presence
- Key stakeholder in A&D trade shows, K+B events and industry conference presence.
- Represent Fabuwood at relevant industry associations, chapter events, and networking functions (e.g., NKBA, ASID).
- Support the development of trade-facing marketing materials, sample programs, and showroom experiences.
Market Insights & Reporting
- Monitor and report on design trends, competitive activity, and market dynamics within the A&D channel.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on relationship-building progress, pipeline development, and event outcomes.
Required
- 3+ years of experience in trade development, architectural/design sales, or a related business development role, ideally within building products, cabinetry, or interior finishes
- Strong design sensibility, with working knowledge of residential and commercial design trends and the ability to speak credibly with designers and specifiers
- Excellent presentation and public speaking skills, comfortable delivering CEU accredited content
- Proven relationship building and consultative selling skills
- Solid understanding of cabinetry products, construction methods, and specification processes, or the ability to learn quickly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effective cross-functional collaborator, able to work seamlessly with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams
- Ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory for client meetings, trade events, and industry conferences
Preferred
- Established relationships within the architecture and design community
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- Active involvement in NKBA, ASID, or AIA chapters

- Hours: Monday–Thursday, 8AM – 5PM, Friday, 8AM – 1PM
