Who we want… (Requirements)

The new team member should have a high school degree or equivalent. The new team member should have at least 2 years of cleaning and stocking experience. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to take ownership of their area and proactively look for areas for improvement.

Basic computer skills including email and spreadsheets are preferred. The new team member must possess a valid government issued Motor Vehicle (Driver’s) License in good standing and have reliable transportation to and from work. Must also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The hours of the position are expected to be 8:00 – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as required

Qualifications

What we expect… (Essential Functions)

  • Maintain the interior and exterior cleanliness, appearance, and daily readiness of an approximately 85,000-square foot corporate office facility, ensuring a clean, safe, productive and welcoming environment for team members, customers and visitors.
  • Provide Excellent customer service to team members, internal/external customers, and visitors
  • Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and readiness standards are maintained throughout the day.
  • Maintain general cleanliness in common areas, restrooms, and entrances.
  • Maintain stock in kitchens, coffee areas and restrooms throughout the day.
  • Take ownership of assigned areas and proactively identify cleanliness, safety and maintenance concerns
  • Report building maintenance, safety, or cleanliness concerns promptly through established procedures.
  • Communicate inventory replenishment needs proactively to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
  • Assist with mail and package deliveries throughout facility
  • Assist with office moves and furniture setup
  • Deliver supplies throughout the facility
  • Assist with seasonal projects and/or special events.
  • Occasional travel to other Gray-owned facilities within the Lexington area may be required to support cleaning, stocking, and facility operations.
  • Prioritize daily responsibilities and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
  • All other duties as assigned

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

While performing the duties of this position, the team member is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands or arms and talk or hear. They will be required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds as well as frequently push a cart stocked with up to 75 pounds of supplies. Specific vision abilities required include close vision.

Frequently in a normal office environment where noise level is moderate and temperature/humidity is controlled. Frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and outside weather conditions. Overtime may be required.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
