Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Designer (Contract) based in the United States.
This is a hands-on contract opportunity for a Senior Product Designer joining a digital product team for an accelerated 60–90 day engagement. You will help deliver priority web, app, and subscription experiences across customer journeys such as landing pages, checkout, onboarding, account management, and subscriptions. The role combines strong UX and UI craft with fast execution, product thinking, and close collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Growth. You will work through ambiguity while balancing customer needs, business objectives, and technical constraints. The position offers meaningful ownership of shipped digital experiences while contributing directly to an evolving product roadmap. There may also be an opportunity for an individual designer to transition into a full-time Senior Product Designer role following the contract, although conversion is not guaranteed.
- Own UX and UI execution for active web and app initiatives, including landing pages, checkout, onboarding, account experiences, and subscription-management flows.
- Increase design capacity and help maintain momentum across high-priority initiatives within an accelerated product roadmap.
- Translate defined product and growth opportunities into polished, development-ready digital experiences.
- Develop and rapidly iterate concepts, user flows, prototypes, and A/B testing variants in close collaboration with Product Managers, Engineers, and Growth partners.
- Use existing research, product context, analytics, and established design-system patterns to make informed design decisions.
- Identify experience gaps, design risks, and opportunities early and proactively address them.
- Create high-quality designs that align with the existing design system and customer experience standards.
- Prepare production-ready Figma files, interaction specifications, responsive states, and clear handoff documentation.
- Participate in established planning, design critique, and delivery processes, adapting priorities as roadmap needs evolve.
- Partner closely with Engineering throughout implementation, answer design-related questions, and support design QA as features are released.
- Incorporate AI-assisted design tools where appropriate to accelerate exploration, prototyping, and execution while maintaining strong design judgment and quality standards.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional product design experience, with senior-level ownership of shipped digital products.
- Strong visual and interaction design skills combined with systems thinking and a strong understanding of digital product experiences.
- Advanced proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience working in DTC, subscription, e-commerce, growth, or conversion-focused product environments.
- Demonstrated ability to work quickly through ambiguity while balancing customer needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
- Experience collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and Growth teams within structured product-development workflows.
- Experience using AI-assisted design tools such as Claude, Figma Make, or comparable platforms to explore concepts, prototype interactions, and accelerate design workflows.
- Sound judgment when evaluating AI-generated design output and when handling confidential information, third-party content, and intellectual property.
- Familiarity with product-development tools such as Jira.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain design decisions and incorporate feedback effectively.
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering polished, production-ready work.
- Ability to begin on or around October 1, 2026.
- Availability to commit approximately 20 hours per week for the full 60–90 day engagement.
- Ability to work during Eastern Time hours; East Coast-based candidates are preferred, but U.S. location is otherwise flexible.
- Interest in being considered for a potential full-time Senior Product Designer opportunity following the contract is welcome, although full-time conversion is not guaranteed.
Benefits:

- Approximately 20 hours per week for a 60–90 day engagement.

- Direct collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Growth teams.
- Opportunity to contribute to high-priority web, app, and subscription initiatives.
