This is a strategic, highly cross-functional role focused on shaping pricing, packaging, and monetization across a complex technology portfolio. You’ll help determine how enterprise customers are charged for on-premises software, cloud-based SaaS, and appliance solutions while ensuring pricing reflects customer value and market dynamics. The role combines product strategy, financial analysis, competitive intelligence, and commercial decision-making to drive sustainable growth. You’ll own product line performance insights across revenue, margins, growth, attach rates, and lifecycle trends. As organizations increasingly adopt cloud, automation, and consumption-based models, you’ll help guide the evolution from traditional licensing toward modern monetization approaches. Working closely with Product, Sales, Finance, and Operations, you’ll translate data and market insights into recommendations that influence investment, positioning, and portfolio priorities.
- Define, develop, and continuously refine pricing and packaging strategies across enterprise infrastructure software, SaaS, subscription, and appliance-based offerings.
- Own product line performance analysis, monitoring revenue, growth, margins, attach rates, lifecycle trends, and other key commercial indicators.
- Conduct market, competitive, customer segmentation, and pricing analysis to identify opportunities and inform product positioning and investment decisions.
- Translate customer and market insights into actionable recommendations that strengthen product strategy, monetization, and portfolio performance.
- Lead pricing transitions from perpetual and license-based models toward subscription and consumption-based approaches aligned with evolving enterprise use cases.
- Establish scalable pricing governance, discounting frameworks, and commercial deal structures for enterprise and strategic accounts.
- Partner closely with Sales on complex enterprise opportunities, providing data-driven pricing guidance, value articulation, and commercial recommendations.
- Drive pricing consistency across global sales channels, partners, and cloud marketplaces while balancing customer value and business objectives.
- Develop forecasting models, financial analyses, and business cases to support portfolio investment, prioritization, and strategic planning.
- Prepare executive-level reporting that connects product performance, market trends, pricing outcomes, and monetization opportunities into clear strategic insights.
- Bring 8–12+ years of experience in pricing, product management, business analytics, finance, strategy, or a related discipline within enterprise technology organizations.
- Have direct experience working within network infrastructure, network security, enterprise software, or closely related technology markets.
- Demonstrate experience developing pricing strategies across on-premises software, SaaS/subscription offerings, appliance-based solutions, or hybrid technology portfolios.
- Possess strong analytical capabilities, including financial modeling, market analysis, business performance tracking, forecasting, and translating complex data into actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrate the ability to influence senior and cross-functional stakeholders across Product Management, Sales, Finance, Operations, and executive leadership.
- Have experience working in organizations undergoing cloud, SaaS, subscription, or broader business-model transformation.
- An MBA or equivalent experience in strategy, corporate finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with DDI, network observability, network security, or adjacent infrastructure technologies is an asset.
- Bring familiarity with usage-based, consumption-based, or hybrid pricing models, as well as enterprise sales motions, deal desk processes, and CPQ systems.
- Experience supporting public cloud marketplace pricing and packaging, along with a proven ability to simplify complex legacy pricing structures into scalable and coherent models, is highly valued.
- Competitive annual base salary of $170,000–$190,000 CAD, with eligibility for a discretionary bonus plan.
- Comprehensive benefits designed to support employees’ health, financial wellbeing, and overall wellness.
- Professional development budget to support ongoing learning and career growth.
- Dedicated wellness days and a dedicated Wellness Week.
- Lifestyle Spending Account providing additional flexibility to support personal wellbeing and lifestyle needs.
- Employee recognition program designed to celebrate contributions and achievements.
- Opportunity to work on strategic pricing and monetization initiatives across a sophisticated enterprise technology portfolio.
- Collaborative and inclusive environment that values transparency, curiosity, respect, innovation, and employee wellbeing.
- Commitment to diversity, inclusion, equal opportunity, and professional advancement across a broad range of backgrounds and experiences.
