Job Description

Description:

It is the responsibility of the VLT Technician to complete shop repairs, rebuild slot games, and complete hands-on training of all gaming devices and related systems while providing excellent guest service. All duties are to be performed in accordance with the department and property policies, practices, and procedures.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with the policies, philosophies, and regulations of the company and the Gaming Control Board
  • Perform floor repair and preventative maintenance of all Video Lottery Machines including machine cleaning and overhauls
  • Maintain the integrity of the VLT machine equipment and secure all company assets and property at all times
  • Provide hands-on training on all gaming devices and related systems to all VLT Technicians
  • Work with VLT Technical and VLT Operational team members to ensure slot machines, change machines (TRU / JDU), and on-line system equipment are in proper working order, and all customer needs are satisfied
  • Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refer the matter to management
  • Notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
Requirements:

Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

Work Experience

  • 6+ Months of Prior Relevant Experience (using basic tools, guest service/customer service and basic computer knowledge) Required

  • Strong problem solving and listening skills
  • Ability to function and act independently
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
  • Ability to communicate effectively, concisely and logically in a timely manner and at an appropriate level, while maintaining confidentiality
  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
  • Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
