- Design, build, and maintain healthcare integrations using Python, HL7 v2, FHIR, RESTful APIs, SQL, and interoperability tools.
- Collaborate with product managers, delivery leads, and customer engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable integration solutions.
- Coordinate with offshore engineering teams to support implementation, quality assurance, and timely project delivery.
- Develop reusable integration components, templates, and frameworks that improve scalability and operational efficiency.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration performance across production environments to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Lead root-cause analysis and resolution of production incidents while maintaining high-quality operational standards.
- Contribute to improving interoperability workflows and data pipelines that support healthcare AI systems at scale.
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare integration, interoperability engineering, or related technical roles.
- Strong expertise in healthcare interoperability standards including HL7 v2, FHIR, and X12.
- Hands-on experience with Python development and integration engines such as Mirth, Rhapsody, InterSystems IRIS, or Redox.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, SQL, and modern integration architecture principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong ownership mindset with focus on reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.
- Familiarity with major EHR platforms such as Epic, Cerner, AthenaOne, or similar systems is a plus.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, cloud deployments, or healthcare analytics environments is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel approximately 20–40% as required for customer collaboration and project delivery.
